My Head is Spinning

Mookie Betts looks baffled.
It's Bizarre-o-World tonight!

In Fantasyland, we glance at the State of the Union. Oh, for the love of Lincoln, this is just crazy.

Military families have reunited! Rush Limbaugh is presented the Presidential Medal of Freedom!

Politics aside, it's like the old Oprah bit. Is everyone getting a new car?

Is it Ellen's big giveaway night?

It was theater. That's for sure.

On the other hand, from Tomorowland, we have the trade of trades in baseball.

Mookie and Price to the Dodgers!

Joc Pederson to the Angels!

Kenta Maeda to the Twins!

Mass hysteria in Boston!

And yet -- YET -- some are playing the "What, me worry?" card for the Red Sox. They're under the salary threshold! All is well!

Then there's Frontierland, where it's all fallen apart for the New York Mets. They get their own special place that they can share with the New York Knicks.

Knicks fans are begging for a new owner, so what does the current owner do? Fire team president Steve Mills today.

And the Mets? Just wow. They thought they had their savior in Steve Cohen but, as of tonight, the sale of the team to him has hit a major snag, at least if we are to believe "reports."

Make sure to visit the gift shop on the way out!

Or a bar. You might need a drink.
